Last year while walking from the parking lot to the plant (along a major street), I found a wallet with cash and cards.
I turned it into security.
A few years ago, the person next to me on a crowded plane left his wallet in the seat. I never saw him. I picked up his wallet and went to the airline employee in the load area and insisted that she page him, since he had just gotten off of the plane. His license could have been in the wallet! She was reluctant, but luckily, he walked up and got his wallet.
